Joe has been talking about these cookies for a month. Thinking about how to incorporate the hazelnut into the batter in just the right way. He actually made three batches of these cookies the other afternoon. The third batch matched what he had in his head. Although I happily ate the first and second batch too.
They might look like just regular chocolate chip cookies, but they have hazelnut flavor infused throughout with the smoothest, nutty aftertaste. Oh and don't forget the chocolate. There are very few things that go together as well as chocolate and hazelnuts.
