Farmers' Market Starts Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the day! We hope you'll be there or at least tell your friends to be there.

8 - 1:30 pm

We'll have some samples for you to try, plus a variety of delicious gluten free treats for sale. We'll change flavors every week and keep bringing back the ones that sell the best.

For our first weekend the menu includes:

Honey, Rustic and Cinnamon-Raisin Breads
Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies
Plain, Poppyseed, and Everything Bagels
Mexican Hot Chocolate Cupcakes
Jumbo Cacao-Hazelnut Muffins
Orange Creamsicle Cream Puffs

As always, everything we make is gluten free and made in our dedicated gluten free kitchen.

We'll be happy to take special orders either for pick up at our kitchen in NW Portland or for pick up at next Saturday's Farmers' Market.  Have a special food allergy? This is a great way to get our delicious treats made to your specifications.

Hooray it's time for the weekly box again!

This is the box full of gluten free staples to last you through the week. Order it by Sunday for pick up/delivery on Tuesday.

It's a weekly order of bread or bagels, cookies, and muffins. You can join in for one week or every week. Just let us know by Sunday.

This week's weekly box includes:

• honey or rustic bread
• Everything bagels
• Chai Spice Muffins
• Orange Shortbread Cookies

Indvidiual Boxes ($15 each)
4 bagels, 4 muffins, 6 cookies

Family Size Boxes ($25 each)
1 loaf of bread or 6 bagels, 6 muffins, 12 cookies

Now Offering Bike Delivery!

So much new and exciting going on right now. We're jump up and down excited about it all. One of the biggest is that we're working with Portland Pedal Power now to offer delivery service for our products. This is like the coolest thing since sliced gluten free bread.

As of this week, we are now offering bicycle delivery of a limited variety of goodies. All the info is here on our portal at the Portland Pedal Power site.

Some things to keep in mind, right now you have to order by 4pm the day before delivery. We have breakfast, lunch, and snack items available. Delivery is cheaper the closer you are to downtown. Use this handy map to understand their delivery zones. You can pay with paypal (and credit cards) on their site or pay cash upon arrival.

Right now our menu has individual size pizzas, savory pies, cookies, muffins, bagels and cream puffs, all gluten free!

But wait, there's more! ('ve always wanted to use that.) We're also offering bike delivery of our weekly boxes. You order your weekly box with us like normal, but now you have the option of delivery or pick-up!

We're closed today. What didn't you know?

Let me be more specific. We're running around like maniacs getting everything ready for Farmers' Markets. We can't wait to get out there and get moving, but we'd better be prepared.

So we're no longer open on Saturdays. It's sad and we miss you too. However there are other opportunities. You can still get your gluten free goodies!

You can order from our etsy store. Or give us a call or email and order something to pick up. Check out our menu to see everything you could order.

Otherwise, we hope that you'll stop by the Farmers' Markets when we start them. We'll be in Hillsboro on Saturdays starting on April 30th and at the Cully Community Market Sundays starting June 5th.

 We have two choices for sizes: Individual and Family Size. If you're the only one eating gluten free in your household, we now have a smaller size box to accomodate.

Farmers' Markets

I'm very very happy to announce that we will be selling at Farmers' Markets this season. Yes that was plural, there are two places you can catch us.

Starting April 30th you can find us at the Hillsboro Farmer's Market every Saturday 8 - 1:30pm. Located on Main Street & 2nd Ave in Hillsboro. This market is a long one and goes until October 29th. Our stall for the whole season will be on Main Street near 3rd Ave.

This will be a good opportunity for us to reach outside of Portland. I've heard that Hillsboro has a lot of gluten free people, so we hope to see lots of you! Plus working with this market has been wonderful so far. Meeting the vendors at the vendor meeting made us really excited to do this one. Seems like a big vibrant and growing market.

Then starting on June 5th, we'll be at the Cully Community Market every Sunday as well. This market is open 10 - 2pm every Sunday through September 11th.

It's located in Portland at 5600 NE 42nd Ave and Killingsworth. While this is a smaller market, it's a great community organized affair and has grown a lot since it's humble beginnings last year. We're excited to be a part of their growth!

So what does this mean? We're growing. We anticipate a few growing pains along the way, but man does it feel good to stretch our legs. We've been working hard all winter to get all our ducks in a row so that we'd be ready to expand come spring. And now it's here!

We're going to have to make a few changes. The first and most noticeable of course is the lack of our Walk-in Saturdays. Our kitchen will still be open by appointment. So you should definitely order bread, cookies, cupcakes, cakes, cream puffs, and everything else from us. You just specify when you want to pick it up and we'll make it and have it ready for you. If you want to browse or stop by for a snack, you'll have to come visit us at the Farmers' Market. Or order your snacks for delivery through Pedal Power (available soon).

If you've never ordered from us, everything on our menu (and we take special requests) is available. You just give us a call or email and we'll make it happen.

Our weekly boxes are changing too. Not going away, we just need to change the how and the when. We'll have more information about them tomorrow.

Changes

This is going to be our last weekend that we're open on Saturdays. In a few weeks we'll start selling at Farmers' Markets (Hillsboro on Saturdays) and we need a few weekends to prepare. This doesn't mean we're shutting our doors! We're still open by appointment. So feel free to place orders for bread, cookies, cupcakes, weekly boxes, and more. See our menu for a full list of what we offer.

I'll have more information next week about where and when to find us at Farmers' Markets.

Note: Weekly boxes will be changing in the next few weeks. First we're going to start offering bike delivery (we already offer shipping). Then we're going to start selling at the Farmer's Markets on Saturdays (starting on April 30th, then we start on Sundays too in June).

We need your help! Your feedback is invaluable.

What would be the best for you?

• Pick Up/Delivery switches to Fridays (or Mondays or Wednesdays). Great if you work in downtown, have it delivered to your office!
• Pick up from us at the HIllsboro Farmer's Market on Saturdays
